MISSION–
“The Egg” is a simple and straightforward story of a young farmer boy on a quest to collect eggs on his family farm. There’s just one problem— he can’t seem to find the right animal! Throughout the book, we follow the main character on his journey around the farm and meet all sorts of muddy, hairy, and feathery characters along the way!
SOLUTION–
The soft, painterly style and simplified imagery of this project creates a friendly environment for its reader, making my take on this Laura E. Richards story a great read for young children. I wanted to create a dynamic experience that both kids and parents can enjoy through the use of exaggerated perspectives and bold lighting.
